A certain incident at one of their fundraising events seems to have inspired
the Act 1 finale of the musical One Touch Of Venus
(One Touch Of Venue (1992 Production),
One Touch Of Venus (2000 Production)),
and indeed the fundraising event itself is the party referred to in the tale
that Whitelaw Savoury tells at the Art Student’s ball).
Stop Press: The Jersey Boys,
and Spitting Image’s puppetmistress
Louise Gold are among those
scheduled to entertain at the 2 Wheel
Appeal’s Amazing Charity Auction on 20 November 2010..
