CLIC stands for “Cancer And
Leukaemia In Childhood”, it is a charity which was founded in the South
West by Bob Woodward in 1976. The
Bristol Hippodrome played host to a number of fundraising galas in aid of
it during the 1990s. In 2005 the charity merged with Sargent
Cancer Care For Children to become CLIC Sargent.
Madeline Bell, Lorna Dallas, Ned Sherrin, and,
Dawn Spence all took part in Kids At Heart, which may also have involved Gerard Casey.
