CLIC stands for “Cancer And Leukaemia In Childhood”, it is a charity which was founded in the South West by Bob Woodward in 1976. The Bristol Hippodrome played host to a number of fundraising galas in aid of it during the 1990s. In 2005 the charity merged with Sargent Cancer Care For Children to become CLIC Sargent.

Madeline Bell, Lorna Dallas, Ned Sherrin, and, Dawn Spence all took part in Kids At Heart, which may also have involved Gerard Casey.

Madeline Bell, Ned Sherrin, and, Dawn Spence may have taken part in Thing A Thon.

Meredith Braun’s film credits include The Muppet Christmas Carol, and her recording credits include the associated album The Muppet Christmas Carol (Film Soundtrack).

Robin Cousins, Marion Montgomery, and, Liz Robertson had previously taken part in A Time To Start Living.

Lorna Dallas, and, Liz Robertson appeared in Happily Ever After, and, may have appeared in The Royal Variety Performance (1982). Their recording credits include The Great Musicals – Laughter And Tears.

Lorna Dallas, Liz Robertson, and, Ned Sherrin appeared in the Side By Side By Sondheim 25th Anniversary Gala.

Marion Montgomery’s television credits include an appearance in The Ghost Of Faffner Hall.

Keith Harris & Orville appeared on I Love The Muppets.

Liz Robertson, and, Ned Sherrin appeared in Chicago & Company, and, The Side By Side By Sondheim 30th Anniversary Gala, and, may have taken part in Will Aid. They also appeared in the revue Noel/Cole: Let’s Do It.

Liz Robertson has appeared in Side By Side By Sondheim, The Regent’s Park 70th Anniversary Gala, and, A Celebration Of The Life And Work Of Dick Vosburgh. She has also appeared at and helped to organise Shopping With The Stars 2008, and, Shopping With The Stars 2009. Her recording credits include Cole Porter Night & Day, and Noel/Cole: Let’s Do It (Recording). Her radio credits include The Radio Two Arts Programme Chichester Festival 1994.

Ned Sherrin wrote material for The Metropolitan Mikado, and took part in a concert of highlights from the Ratepayer’s Iolanthe & Metropolitan Mikado. He also contributed to Ziegfeld (Stage Show), and its associated album Ziegfeld (Recording). He may have appeared in Comedy Tonight. His radio credits include Ned Sherrin’s Review Of Revue.

Dawn Spence’s recording credits include Cabaret.
