The
information about this “burlesque with
some of the Muppet company”, has been pieced-together mainly from an
article in The Stage newspaper, dated 13 March 1980 (page 3) about Christine Pilgrim, with some additional
information from a post on the Muppet Central messageboard on 3
December 2003 about this “burlesque”.
It should be noted
that all the performers taking part in the burlesque worked on The Muppet Show: Jim Henson, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, Steve
Whitmire, Louise Gold, and, Kathy Mullen in their capacity as
puppeteers were all members of The Muppet Show Eight, while Betsy
Baytos was one of the show’s other puppeteers, and Chris Langham
was one of their writers.
Graham Binmore
had also worked with The Muppets team at ATV Studios. He and Christine Pilgrim
formed Entertaining Stage productions. In the article in The Stage, he is
credited as George Binmore.
Jim Henson, Jerry Nelson,
