It should perhaps be noted that as this gala was in aid of The Kings Head Theatre in Islington most of the performers taking part had at one time or another appeared at The Kings Head, or had some sort of connection with it. There were however a few performers with no prior connection with the theatre (other perhaps than visiting it during their time off). Among those taking part in this gala who have never actually appeared at The Kings Head is Louise Gold.

However, it may be noted that in a television documentary Dan Crawford had once mentioned that he got the idea to put on One Touch Of Venus at the Kings Head (starring Kim Medcalf as Venus); after having seen the Lost Musicals production, One Touch Of Venus 2000 Production) at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Studio.

Janie Dee, Louise Gold, Simon Green, Rebecca Lock, Robert Meadmore, Sheridan Morely, and, Sally Ann Triplett (along with some other current representatives of the Arts Educational School) had (less than two months) previously appeared at The Novello Theatre in Side By Side By Sondheim 30th Anniversary Gala, for which Orbital had previously provided the sound system, and Della Edwards the PR.

Janthea Brigden has also worked under the name Janthea Williams.

Clare Burt’s recording credits include Cabaret, Encore The Very Best From The Musicals, Cole Porter - Night And Day, Centre Stage Showtime!, The Greatest Musicals of the 20th Century, and, Let’s Go On With The Show – Hit Songs From The West End & Broadway.

Clare Burt, Robert Meadmore, and, Sally Ann Triplett’s recording credits include Simply Musicals.

Janie Dee has previously appeared on television in A Week In The West End, and may have appeared on stage in Comedy Tonight.

Henry Goodman had previously appeared on stage in Assassins, and, Of Thee I Sing, and on the radio in Let ‘Em Eat Cake.

Henry Goodman, and, Anna Nicholas had previously appeared in Follies.

Simon Green, Peter Land, Robert Meadmore, Angela Richards, and, Peter Straker may have previously appeared in Will Aid.

Simon Green, Robert Meadmore, and, Angela Richards had previously appeared in Kids At Heart; which Patricia Hodge, and, Jessica Martin may have appeared in; and which Lesley Joseph may possibly have appeared in (but that is not too likely). One of its choreographers was however Doreen Hermitage. That gala also included amongst its company a dancer named Nichola Keen which might possibly Nicola Keen.

Simon Green, and, Angela Richards had previously appeared in A Time To Start Living.

Simon Green’s recording credits include The History Of The Musical. He went on to appear in Flaunt It 2008.

Her television credits include voice-work on Spitting Image, and her recording credits include Spit In Your Ear. She also appeared in the documentary Best Ever Spitting Image.

Jessica Martin, and, Thelma Ruby had previously appeared in A Lost Musicals Occasion (where Jessica also sang a Dick Vosburgh lyric).

Robert Meadmore had previously appeared on stage in Side By Side By Sondheim, a concert of highlights from the Ratepayers Iolanthe & Metropolitan Mikado, and at Hubert Gregg’s Memorial Service. He has previously appeared on television in Julia And Company. His recording credits include The Great Musicals – Dashing Heroes, Blushing Maidens.
